This monobloc panel cleanroom has been installed at Metalnet precision components, a leading provider of components with a high degree of precision and cleanliness for the high-tech industry and machine building. With its H14 HEPA filtration and innovative design, the cleanroom easily achieves an ISO class 6 classification in the main area and ISO class 7 in the goods and gowning areas.
Cleanroom build around a High Tech vapor degreaser
This cleanroom has been specially designed for metalnet precision components. The main requirement was to build the cleanroom around a High Tech vapor degreaser already installed in the building. The cleanroom is utilized with a specially designed interface with the vapor degreaser. Degreased products are placed directly from the degreaser in one of the transfer boxes to maintain maximum cleanliness before entering the main cleanroom area. This enables Metalnet to produce, assemble, clean and package both simple and complex composite products with a high degree of precision and cleanliness (ASML Grade 2) in-house.
The flush walls and ceiling accommodate fast and maximum cleaning of the areas and allow for maximum cleanliness performance. The main cleanroom area is accessible through a self closing swing door, this reduces the contamination transfer into the main area to an absolute minimum.
Optimal working environment
To ensure maximum comfort for operators large windows with double safety glass have been implemented to allow ambient light to enter the cleanroom. A bright working environment was required for optimal control and cleaning conditions, the LED panels are specifically positioned in the ceiling to optimally illuminate the workplaces.
Full turnkey solution
In addition to the full design, manufacture and installation of the cleanroom, ProCleanroom has supplied the complete cleanroom furniture and interior. This includes shelving units, stainless steel tables, cabinets and trolleys. A full line of special clothing and accessories has been provided for the cleanroom operators, such as coveralls, mobcaps, gloves, overshoes, sticky mats, UV inspection lamps and UV protective glasses. ProCleanroom has also provided a cleanroom course to various Metalnet employees regarding applicable cleanroom procedures and guidelines .
