1997
Frank Ferguson, former head of the then sizeable vacuum technology section of the Philips Research Laboratories (NATLAB), founds engineering agency Fergutec B.V. In these early years, Fergutec B.V. focused on advising research institutes and high-tech companies in business-critical vacuum processes. It also focused on the supply of key high vacuum components and systems to these institutions and companies.
2005
The influences of contamination caused by small particles began to play an increasingly large role in the processes of our customers. Because of increasing quality demands and ever smaller details, the control of vacuum particles became more important. Due to increasing demand from our customers to work in increasingly cleaner environments, Fergutec B.V. added cleanrooms to the portfolio in support of critical vacuum processes.
2009
More and more companies and research institutions from a growing number of sectors know how to find Fergutec B.V. for flexible cleanrooms and flow cabinets to protect and support their critical business processes. To better serve and further develop these different sectors, ProCleanroom was established. A true specialist saw the light of day. Founded and built by professionals.
2016
April 2016 – Introduction of our unique modular cleanroom concept, which even anticipates the increasingly stringent European energy directives (ErP2016).
Characteristics of the concept in outline: a completely flush ceiling, innovative frame/wall construction and renewed filtration. For you as a user this means: to be guaranteed the lowest operating costs and cost of ownership in the market. Cleaning the cleanroom and keeping it clean is easier and quicker than ever before. Also, the sleek design makes it look better than anything available in today’s market.
September 2016 – The baton is passed to a new generation. Niels Ferguson has worked at the firm for 11 years, and on 1 September became the new owner and general manager. Niels has a background as a commercial engineer. Through his training and years of experience in the industry, he has developed the right mix of technical knowledge and business vision to continue the innovative and successful products and services, and further expand in the Benelux and Europe.
