January:
Yes!! Finally, the construction of our new business premises has started. Immediately after the holidays and the new year, the contractor started with the groundwork and the contours for the foundation. The first utility pipes and the concrete mesh have already been installed, now we have to wait for the right temperatures to pour the concrete.
On to the next phase.
February:
Fase 1
During the first days of February, all concrete foundations were poured and prepared for the steel construction. The new building is quickly starting to take shape. The first part of the warehouse is already in place and the partition wall towards the office area has been installed. As can be seen, large windows will be installed between the warehouse and the rest for a spacious feeling and to allow ambient light to enter the entire building.
February:
Fase 2
The other (steel) construction has also been installed, and the building is increasingly taking on its final contours. A total of 71 tons of steel has been processed, with trusses of up to 25 meters long. The floors for the office area, canteen and experience center have also been lifted into place.
March:
Contractor Boerekamp continued to work hard in March as well. The roof is already on and a large part of the siding has already been installed. The size of the spaces is becoming increasingly visible and on paper we are also working hard on the optimal layout of the warehouse, workshop and offices.
April:
The roof is completely finished in April. The remaining facade cladding has been applied, the window frames have been placed and adjusted so that the glass can now be mounted in them. This makes the amount of ambient light that comes in through the large number of windows clearly visible. In addition, the building is now being prepared for internal wiring and sewerage. The Bebotec specialists, among others, were making the necessary arrangements with special drills.
The sense of scale, with regard to the offices, is getting better and better and the new opportunities this will bring are very exciting. Now that construction is entering a further phase, the coming months will increasingly be dominated by the design and further appearance of the building.
May:
The new building is increasingly taking on its final shape and appearance. All windows were placed this month and the concrete floors were poured in the warehouse and upper floor. In the office spaces, the installation of the partition walls and the further installation of utilities has started.
June:
Outside, contractor Boerekamp has started the construction of all terrain paving, including the parking spaces. Inside, considerable work has been done on internal walls, sanitary facilities and other utilities. All windows have been placed on the outside and the large roller doors for the warehouse have been installed. The automatic sliding doors will soon be installed at the main entrance and then the building will begin to take on its final appearance on the outside. From the inside you can now clearly see how much natural daylight enters through the enormous windows. An optimal and pleasant working environment for our colleagues.
July:
No work carried out due to holiday period.
August:
After the holiday period, the contractor is back to work on our new business premises. Sun blinds have been installed on the outside and all paving has been laid. The outside of the building is now almost finished and ready for the installation of facade advertising, but contractor Broerekamp is also making good progress inside. Work has started on finishing the pantries and sanitary facilities and all (glass) interior walls have also been installed. The large glass surface allows an enormous amount of natural light into the entire building. In the warehouse, the final touches are being made to the floor and immediately provided with a scratch-resistant and waterproof coating. The completion of the building is getting closer, after which the furnishing/finishing can begin.
September:
September was all about doing a lot of work at the same time. The first large pallet-racks have been installed in the project warehouse. With their maximum height of 6 meters, we can make optimal use of the available space. Work has also started on setting up the webshop warehouse. A lot of work has been done in the office spaces, where all walls have been fitted with acoustic felt to dampen sound as much as possible and carpeting has been installed. In combination with the new furniture, this will look fantastic. The the other floors are all equipped with a super sleek cast floor. Naturally, our own Headquarters cannot be without a cleanroom, a number of our installation engineers have started installing this space.
October:
The move to our new business premises is getting closer. A large part of the furniture has been delivered and the final finishing touches are being made. At the stairwell and in the canteen, the walls are beautifully finished with (real) moss, which has been preserved in a special way so that the color and structure are retained. A special storage container has been installed for the storage of dangerous goods, of course sprayed in (Pro)cleanroom white.
March 2024:
On March 22 and 23 we officially opened our new business premises on the Meerheide in Eersel. After a number of weeks of preparation, we look back on it with a fantastic feeling. We are proud that we have been able to do this together with our customers, suppliers, friends and family! Friday and Saturday were two beautiful days full of highlights for us, during which the entire team greatly enjoyed presenting various cleanroom solutions and consumables, but above all showing guests around our nice new workplace. The building is now completely ready for use and finished down to the last detail. A fantastic workplace to complete the most beautiful cleanroom projects together.
