Innovative crossflow unit optimizes precision work for MI Partners

ProCleanroom has delivered a custom-built Crossflow unit (HLFU-2000-800) to MI Partners in Veldhoven, a leading company specializing in innovative mechatronic solutions. This advanced cleanroom solution is designed to meet the stringent demands of precision work within the high-tech industry and has been seamlessly integrated into an existing cleanroom environment.

The laminar crossflow unit, developed by ProCleanroom’s in-house engineering department, provides a spacious and exceptionally clean working environment. With a working width of 2000 mm and a work surface depth of 800 mm, alongside an internal working height of 900 mm and an ISO Class 3 classification, this crossflow unit guarantees a virtually particle-free atmosphere, essential for sensitive processes and measurements. Filtration is handled by a ULPA U15 absolute filter, ensuring a very high degree of purity.

Designed for measuring equipment
A unique aspect of this project is the design, which allows for the placement of the laminar crossflow unit over a granite measuring table. This setup contributes significantly to achieving a vibration-free working environment.

Each leg of the crossflow unit features a stepless height adjustment system combined with stable swivel castors. This enables precise positioning of the crossflow unit, allowing it to be lowered until it rests completely on the table. This placement flexibility is critical for integration with MI Partners’ existing measuring setups.

The HPL work surface also includes pre-defined mounting points, allowing MI Partners to easily attach and configure specialized equipment. This custom-made solution underscores ProCleanroom’s expertise in delivering advanced cleanroom technologies that seamlessly align with the specific needs of high-tech companies like MI Partners.

The underframe of the laminar crossflow unit is constructed from brushed Stainless Steel 304, contributing to both its durability and hygiene. The crossflow unit is equipped with a multifunctional Multi controller that offers extensive configuration options, including work schedule planning, resulting in significant energy savings during downtime periods.
