For the NLR (Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre) in the Netherlands, we have developed a custom-made downflow unit. This downflow unit offers an ultra clean working environment in which NLR can assemble and clean highly sensitive electronic components for aerospace technology.
The downflow unit is equipped with an optional ion bar in order to neutralize any possible static charge of air, surfaces or products inside the flow unit. The use of an ionbar will also provide extra protection for sensitive electronic equipment. The unit offers a vertical flow of clean air over the worktop compatible with ISO class 5 or better.
