Over the past 5 years, the technical committe has been working on a revision of the base documents 14644-1 and -2. The update was set up specifically to improve the cleanroom standard. After feedback from users and experts, the newest revisions of 14644-1 and -2 were accepted by the majority of the ISO committe. Since 2016, the new revisons are increasingly being adopted by the industry.
